1. Order Cancellation:

For maximum flexibility, Hatch’d Books allows customers to cancel their orders at any time during the order process. This includes cancellations before or after dispatch. You also have the option to reject the order at the time of delivery.

2. Refund Eligibility & Process:

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must have received a damaged or defective product.
  • A valid proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or receipt, is required.
  • The refund request must be made within 30 days of receiving your order.

Once we verify your refund request, it will be processed and should reflect in your original payment method within 30 business days.

3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items:

  • Used or damaged books – Any book that is not in its original condition or shows visible signs of wear and tear will not be accepted.
  • Digital products – E-books or downloadable materials are non-refundable due to the nature of digital content.
  • Gift cards or promotional items – Items received as gifts, free promotional materials, or part of a giveaway are not eligible for returns.

4. Product Return:

If you wish to return a product, you must follow these steps:

  • Receive Return Instructions – Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with return authorization and instructions on how to send the item back.
  • Ship the Book Back – You will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item was defective or damaged upon arrival. Ensure the book is well-packaged to avoid any damage during transit.
  • Inspection & Approval – Once we receive the returned book, our team will inspect it to confirm that it meets our return eligibility criteria.
  • Refund Processing – If the return is approved, your refund will be processed within 30 days of receiving the returned item.

 

5. Refund Details:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please note:

  • The original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the item arrived damaged or defective.
  • If your return is not approved due to the item condition, we will notify you, and the item will be sent back to you.

 

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items:

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or is the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@hatchdbooks.com. Please include clear photos of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost.
